When I woke up the other morning, I realized my dreams had been invaded by horses.

These creatures are special to me. I feel an affinity for them. When you look into a horse’s eyes, you can see their soul beaming through to you. Feisty, gentle, playful, dangerous, wary, loving. Their moods can be determined if you’re paying attention. And it’s always best to before you decide you want to get on their back.

I learned so much working with these beautiful ones. About them and about myself.

I don’t believe I’ve ever worked so hard, physically, in my life. It was just what I needed at that time.

Horses are used in rehabilitation and therapy for children and adults. It’s easy to see why this is effective. My time with horses is always renewing. Just grooming them, brushing their manes and bodies, brings about a peace that I sometimes didn’t even know I was seeking.
